Health Foundation is building collaboration and sharing best practices as part of the Health Legacy Learning Collaborative

April 25, 2017

Building collaboration and sharing best practices are a few of the opportunities the Paso del Norte Health Foundation’s program team will experience as part of The Roadmaps Collaborative Learning with support and funding managed by Active Living By Design and part of the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program, a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.

Selected health conversion foundations around the country are coming together to learn about programs, practices and approaches to improving health. Members of the Health Foundation program team will visit the Path Foundation, Interact for Health and Danville Regional Foundation to discuss topics related to school health, community orientation, mental health, school gardens, food and equality work and trails. The visits will take place from April – October. The Health Foundation will be the host foundation cohort in June. Ultimately, the group will compile a report on their findings that can be used for future program design and evaluation.
