As you know, the Texas State Legislature meets once every two years during odd-numbered years. In 2017, significant progress was made in passing legislation to improve the mental health system of care in Texas. As the 86th session begins, mental health advocates seek to build on those accomplishments.

Staff from the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute will be in El Paso to present a briefing for local stakeholders and advocates on policies that will be discussed during the 86th Legislative Session.

This event is open to the public.
