Upcoming events along the Paso del Norte Trail

August 24, 2021

The Paso del Norte Trail is a community-driven, collaborative effort to develop a 68-mile county-wide trail in El Paso County. The goal is to create a regionally significant landmark that promotes active transportation, preserves the history and culture of our region, highlights the Rio Grande river, supports economic development and ecotourism, provides educational and volunteer opportunities, and makes healthy living the easy choice for our unique, binational community. Join us to learn, explore and support the trail.

Bike Ride and Bike Drive – Sept. 18 at 8 am
In partnership with Rotary El Paso and Safe Routes Partnership, make plans for a bike ride and bike drive at Hidden Valley Park (200 Coconut Tree Lane).

Donate bikes to ride
In partnership with Rotary El Paso’s Rotary Wheels Program, donate new or slightly used bikes. All donations will be provided to Tornillo students in need of a bike.

Bat Walk - Sept. 25th
In partnership with Bat Conservation International, take an evening bat walk to learn about all the wonderful night creatures along the trail.

Did you know that bats can eat up to 1,000 mosquito-sized insects in just one hour? We love supporting these mosquito-eating creatures and provided them safe habitats along the trail.
