The organization is housed within the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. The stated goals and objectives of the coalition are to advance and support transportation initiatives in the El Paso region. Health Foundation awards two new grants to support Alcohol Prevention and Healthy Kids Initiatives

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation recently awarded two grants totaling more than $755,000 under the Shift + and Healthy Kids Initiatives. The purpose of the Shift+ initiative is to reduce underage drinking and binge drinking in all ages, and the Healthy Kids initiative’s goal is to improve a range of healthy outcomes by engaging disconnected youth in high quality programs during out-of-school hours.
