Congratulations to 20 community health leaders who recently graduated from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation’s REALIZE Leadership Program. These individuals participated in a 10-month experience that prepared them to address regional health needs, through the use of cutting edge leadership ideas.

Be aware of street closures in Downtown El Paso starting Monday, April 4

March 31, 2016

The following street closures will begin on Monday, April 4 and are necessary for the work related to the El Paso Streetcar Project. It is encouraged that commuters allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes.

  • Yandell Drive will be reduced to one westbound lane at Stanton Street. This closure will impact westbound motorists who use Exit 19A/Mesa Street and is expected to last for approximately four weeks.

  • Stanton Street will be reduced to one northbound lane between Wyoming and Yandell. A complete closure of Stanton Street between Wyoming and Yandell will be required in…

Disconnected youth engage as museum guides at La Rodadora

At La Rodadora, the only interactive museum in Ciudad Juárez and the largest museum in the state of Chihuahua and El Paso, engaging youth is as important as the next great exhibit.

Emily Hartmann named New Deputy Director of PDN HIE

The Paso del Norte Health Information Exchange (PDN HIE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Hartmann as Deputy Director.

Hartmann brings experience in health care consulting and analytics to the PDN HIE. She has also worked on health initiatives for the city of Chicago and the state of Massachusetts.

Bowie High School Community Garden featured by Salud America!

The Bowie High School Community Garden (BHS Garden) project is one of six programs in the country featured by Salud America! as Salud Heroes vs. Sugar.
